Bismillahirrahmanirrahim.

Assalammualaikum.

Celebrate relatively quietly, with prayers, readings, thoughts and reflections upon Hijrah.

The following Du'aa should be recited on the last day of Dhul Hijjah and the Du'aa thereafter is to be recited after the sighting of the moon of Muharram. http://www.islaamthewayoflife.com/apps/blog/show/5544432-dua-for-the-end-beginning-of-the-year

Indeed, those who have believed and those who have emigrated and fought in the cause of Allah - those expect the mercy of Allah. And Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.
Al Baqarah 2:208
Kul 'am wa antum bikhair. We have the gift of youth, so take advantage of it. Let us change and be better Muslims. Insya-Allah.

Indeed, Allah will not change the condition of a people until they change what is in themselves.

Ar-Ra'd 13:11
